Peace Groups Protest Israeli PM Netanyahu Speech To Congress

On July 24, 2024, thousands of peace activists rallied and marched in the nation’s Capitol to protest the speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the U.S. Congress. The groups were protesting the ongoing genocide in Gaza as well as the fact that Netanyahu was allowed to speak to Congress after the International Criminal Court issued a warrant for his arrest for war crimes. We will hear remarks from three speakers: Krys Cerisier with CODEPINK, Rabbi Esther Azar, with Jewish Voice for Peace, and Dr. Jill Stein, Green Party candidate for President.
