Riverkeeper Pushes for “Not Protective” Determination on PCB Cleanup
Every five years, the Environmental Protection Agency is required to review the Hudson River PCB cleanup process and determine if it is complete or if there is more to be done. In February, Riverkeeper stood alongside U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and other environmental leaders and groups to urge the Environmental Protection Agency to render a “not protective” determination in its upcoming review of the cleanup’s effectiveness.
