Water Clean Up with Summer Youth Employees

In this segment, the summer youth employees, Christopher and Jalya, spend an afternoon with A’Livija exploring and cleaning an unmarked creek in the neighborhood. This body of water is located at the end of Glenn Ave and is connected from Bradley Lake and flows to the Hudson River. The clean up of this river fostered conversations around leave no trace principles, the importance of signage and regulations where we recreate, in addition to resources (or lack thereof) in our community. Some resources that were addressed in this segment are the City of Troy Bulk Trash Line 518-270-4579 and the Suicide and Crisis Hotline 988.
