Palestinian Groups To Call For NYS To Divest From Israel Jan. 14 SOS

Governor Hochul’s State of the State address will take place at the Egg at the Plaza on Wednesday, January 14. Palestinian rights groups will protest against the support by Governor Hochul and NYS Comptroller DiNapoli of Israel in the ongoing attacks in the occupied territories. The groups estimate that more than $350 million of the state pension fund is invested in Israeli bonds. Eyad Alkurabi discussed the upcoming protest with Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
